Process a Summary of Sales workbook

Turn a customer sales summary into draft invoices or customer credit notes while preserving the sheet's figures.

In this guide

A supported Summary of Sales is read on the sale side. It becomes customer transactions rather than supplier bills. An assigned member or admin can upload it to an active company.

Upload and review

  1. Open Files → Sales in the correct company.
  2. Add the workbook, or collect it through the company's sales Drive folder.
  3. Open the workbook and inspect its extracted transactions and totals.
  4. Resolve any held rows before sending under the company's controls.
  5. Review the resulting drafts in Juan before approving them.

The Workbooks view shows totals, VAT, and non-VAT amounts. It does not collect sales withholding. Negative transactions can become customer credit notes; inspect those results against the source rather than changing their sign to force a positive invoice.

Customer references and tax treatment

Sales use customer-side references and sales tax profiles. The same TIN can belong to a supplier and a customer in one organization; that does not make their accounts interchangeable.

Mendiola checks the workbook's stated figures and sends net amounts with the appropriate exclusive-tax treatment. Missing mappings and conflicting arithmetic are held for a person. A sales workbook is not a way to make the supplier-vouching engine judge the company's own invoices.

No withholding on this road

The sale-side workbook workflow does not read or apply withholding amounts or ATCs. Do not infer that tax was withheld merely because a column existed in the uploaded summary. Review any separate customer withholding documentation through your accounting process.

A workbook can reach real books

With automatic sending enabled, eligible workbook transactions can create drafts in Juan without a further send click. If you are testing a layout, have an admin check the company's sending setting first.

For a POS summary without individual customers, use the sales-report workflow instead. It plans invoices per branch and month and requires a person's period release.
