Archive, restore, or delete a company

Stop new work while keeping company history, restore safely, and understand when permanent deletion is allowed.

In this guide

An admin can archive an accessible company from its row menu or Company settings → General → Manage company. Archiving keeps its files, team assignments, connection history, and deduplication records.

Archive a company

  1. Open the company's management actions.
  2. Choose archive and read the confirmation, including existing work.
  3. Confirm and check the archived banner.

Archiving stops new processing and new send claims, turns sending off, and clears the schedule. A file already being read may finish processing, but cannot start a new send after the archive takes effect.

The company can show Archiving while a request already sent to Juan is settling. Reconciliation continues to record what happened to that existing request. Once external sends settle, the lifecycle is Archived.

Read archived history

Switch the company list to Archived to find it. Existing access still applies. Its pages remain readable, while new uploads, sending, and configuration are unavailable.

Archiving does not remove the organization or its bills from Juan. It does not remove source files from Drive.

Restore a company

Wait for in-flight sends to settle, then use the restore action. The company keeps its identity and history. Sending and schedules stay off, and locking stays off too.

An admin should recheck the connection, then deliberately configure the intended sending and schedule settings. Restoration is not permission to resume unattended sending without review.

Permanent deletion

Permanent deletion is available only for companies without processing history or deduplication records. The confirmation requires typing the current company name exactly.

A company with files, runs, supplier-index history, close acts, or lock attempts must be archived instead. Reference snapshots alone do not necessarily prevent deletion. A refusal is deliberate: removing the company must not erase the record of work performed in real books.
